Purple and Orange Stash

Description

The super soft fibres in this stash were solar dyed from March 21 to October 21 and were one of my experiment on the way to developing new kits.  I really liked the colours although there is a bit more orange than purple.  This method of dyeing results in very little felting but the results are unpredictable and each stash is unique .

Merino (18.5 micron ) 56g

Tussah silk in two pieces 27g nd 11 g

Wensleydale fleece from a farm in Carnarvon were each sheep is known by the farmer . 52g
