In the autumn of 2013 I was commissioned to produce a small picture to celebrate a wedding anniversary of copper and wool. The felt was the wool and we settled on autumn leaves with coppery tones to reperesent the copper. This was the first time I used pinterest to pick colours as well. In the end I made five pictures and this was the one my client selected but I included it in my gallery as it represents a departure in technique. The stone wall is made with fine khadi paper painted with my natural dye inks torn and machine stitched into place. I love it!
Of the five I have sold 3 of the two remaining one is Flying Leaves & Stone Wall which is smaller but I think a gem. Tthe other is floating leaves.
